McMurtry vs. Dutko

Bob and Grady need to get their stories straight. On Thursday, when talking to a rightfully beligerant caller, Grady repeated the old Young Earth Creationist canard:
"Carbon dating doesn't work. None of the radiometric processes work."
Less than three minutes later, Bob tries to convince the same caller that dinosaurs and humans living together. In doing so, he gives out this evidence:
I bet you have no idea that the evolutionists' own carbon dating has been done on dinosaur bones and according to their own dating, only dates dinosaur bones to be in the thousands of years."
So which is it? Does carbon dating work or doesn't it? Oh wait, let me guess. Carbon dating is accurate and reliable when it can be used to show a 6000 year old Earth but it is inaccurate and unreliable when it can be used to show a 4.5 billion year old Earth. Got it.

Morons.

I am a frequent listener of Bob Dutko, and am constantly amazed, and amused at the hypocrisy, and deciet perpetrated by the supposed morally superior christians. They are shameless.

I have purchased Bob Dutko's top ten proofs why evolution is scientifically impossible and am well acquainted with the carbon dating method. Bob has never said that carbon dating does not work. He has made is abundantly clear that carbon dating beyond 50,000 years is grossly inaccurate. Even the discoverer of carbon dating admits this! Fact is, we have no proof that ANYTHING is over a million years old, let alone dogmatically. Why do you believe this? Because your school taught you this! Not because you did the research yourself. It's so easy to hide behind a computer. Why don't you call Bob on open air Friday and have the decency to put correct him live on the air. You won't because the truth of the matter is not on your side. Email me at kestoelvis83@aol.com if you would like a 26 page paper I wrote on creation vs evolution

Presuppositonal [sic] Apologist,

Bob has never said that carbon dating does not work.

You may be correct, but his "creation science" "expert" Grady McMurty certainly did. That's exactly what my original post said! I just thought it was odd that Grady was asserting that Radiocarbon Dating didn't work, while Bob as asserting that it did work. You will have no argument from me that Radiocarbon dating is inaccurate for samples over 50-60k years.

Fact is, we have no proof that ANYTHING is over a million years old, let alone dogmatically. Why do you believe this? Because your school taught you this! Not because you did the research yourself.

Nonsense. Numerous radiometric dating methods, such as Potassium-Argon dating, have dated earth rocks and meteorites into the billions of years. Did I do the research myself? Of course not, I'm not a physicist or a geologist. I've also never personally performed studies linking cancer to cigarette smoking, but that doesn't mean that the link doesn't exist.

By the way, have you personally done scientific research showing that the Earth is only 6000 years old? If so, tell us more about it!

It's so easy to hide behind a computer. Why don't you call Bob on open air Friday and have the decency to put correct him live on the air.

It's so easy for Bob to hide behind his microphone and the corresponding ability to control the conversation. Why doesn't Bob show up here and have the decency to post a comment to correct me and have a civilized debate?
